Our history

From local faith to a Buddhist centre among the mountains

Wat Ban Khun is a Mahanikaya community temple in Moo 3, Bo Luang, Hot District, Chiang Mai. It was founded in 1927 by Phra Panya Chanma together with Nai Intha and Nai Som. Its four-rai, one-ngan grounds support worship, monastic life and education.
